A surprising Welsh enclave in Patagonia

In May 1865, 150 Welsh immigrants sailed from Wales to Argentina on a ship called the Mimosa, fleeing oppression back home. What they found upon disembarking the ship was nothing like the Welsh wetlands they left behind.
