Cagney Roberts is a producer, writer and archivist working between London, New York and Jamaica. Currently a Senior Producer for the BBC, his diverse body of work spans documentary film, long-form articles and historical archiving, with a focus on the politics and science of the body and personal histories through a Caribbean lens. Embracing a style he self describes as "distinctively surreal, yet crystalline and queer,"

Projects Cagney has collaborated on have been showcased at prestigious festivals across the UK and Europe, such as the BFI film Festival.

Beyond his creative pursuits, you can find him exploring the world on his bike, spinning records or reading books in his local green spaces.
