Simmer & Stew is an abstract cooking show focusing on ethnic meals made from ingredients sourced from local supermarkets in London. A celebration of the rich and diverse culture of South London that is being lost through gentrification. The London you don’t see – London shouldn’t only be recognised for its tea & crumpets and Bridgerton!

Each episode follows a day in the life with Cagney. He goes shopping for ingredients around the city and invites friends to his home to serve them a tasty home-cooked meal, whilst showcasing his keen eye for style, music, books and social commentary.
